RPSI-Whitehead_Depot
Today I have a behinds the scenes look at the working of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland-Whitehead Depot.
The society runs a number of steam trains throughout the year on the Translink network.
Volunteers work 7 days a weeks restoring old railway stock so the public and enjoy a ride on a train from yesteryear.
This is a year round job and without the dedication of the volunteers we would only be able to see these types of trains in a photographs and be told stories of a time gone by.
I hope i have captured the work of the teams involved.
